• To evaluate your device, give you a quote, and perform the recovery you approve.

• To ship your device and recovered data back to you.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

• Our technicians access your data only as needed to diagnose the device, recover your files, and verify the results with you.
• We do not open, copy, share, or keep your files for any other purpose.
• Recovered data is returned to you on the return media you choose. Our working copies are securely deleted within 30 days after your case is completed, unless you ask us in writing to keep them longer.
• Your original device is returned to you. If you ask us to dispose of it, we wipe or physically destroy it.
• We will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request.

If your device contains protected health information, we handle it with HIPAA-compliant procedures. Healthcare providers and their business associates can request a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before sending us a device.

We share information only when needed to provide our services or when required by law:

• Shipping carriers, to send and return your devices.
• Payment processors, to complete transactions.
• Service providers that help us run our website, email, and business systems, under confidentiality obligations.
• Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, court order, or legal process.
• A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged, under the same privacy protections.

We use physical, technical, and administrative safeguards, including restricted lab access, secure storage of devices in our care, and limited access to customer data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

We keep contact and case records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Recovered data is handled as described in "Confidentiality of the Data on Your Device."

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law, and we will honor requests as required.

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
